J P Inglis Co., Ltd. became a member of the Group

Established Nico Four Seas (Shantou) Co., Ltd. to develop the Mainland market

Acquired Yaohan Food Processing & Trading Co., Ltd. and renamed it Hong Kong Frozen Food Holdings Limited, thus setting foot in the frozen meat distribution and the production of the “Maid” brand ham and sausages.

Opened the first “Okashi Land” Japanese snack store

Calbee Four Seas factory was established in Tseung Kwan O to produce snacks such as potato chips, prawn crackers and Grill-A-Corn to supply the Hong Kong market.
